So far so good—no more crashes
since yesterday.
It's also interesting to know that there's a Reddit post on obtaining
stack traces on excpetions under Windows, Linux and Mac OS-X. The
approach taken is similar to my approach (which I “borrowed” from Redis) with the exception of
using a separate signal stack—apparently, Mac OS-X won't point to the
right stack when running a signal handler—nice to know.

You may also note subtle shading of the links and that's
intentional: the “closer” the link is (relative to the

using color shading to denote the distance a link is from here. If
you don't notice it, don't worry; it's not all that
important.
