I have my doubts this this
remake (via Ceej's
black book) of Willy Wonka and the Chocolate
Factory. Johnny Depp is no Gene Wilder
and if anything, is
… freakier than Wilder's portrayal of the reclusive confectioner;
more androgenous—more wacked out fasion designer if you will. The movie
also has this wierd Clockwork Orange vibe to it,
not in the “ol' ultra-violent in-out in-out” manner, but set-wise, the
future as seen through a 60s sensibility (guess that means Charlie will
hanging out with his droogs at the milk chocolate bar).
And now I'm earwormed with the music from the preview! Aaaaaaaaaaah!
